How to Clean and Care for EVA Clogs
To clean EVA clogs, wipe them with a damp cloth or rinse with mild soap and water, then let them air dry away from direct sun and heat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry them: high heat can warp EVA foam and mat a fleece lining. This applies to Abundifind’s EVA clogs, including the sherpa-lined styles.
Quick care guide
| Do | Avoid |
|---|---|
| Wipe the outside with a damp cloth | Washing machine |
| Rinse with cool water and a little mild soap | Tumble dryer |
| Press a fleece lining gently with a clean towel | Direct sun and heat to dry them |
| Air dry fully before wearing | Hot water on the foam or the lining |
Step by step
- Remove loose dirt. Knock off mud or grit, then wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
- Rinse if needed. Use cool water and a little mild soap on the outside of the clog.
- Treat the lining gently. For fleece or sherpa linings, press with a clean towel rather than scrubbing. Our guide to cleaning sherpa-lined clogs without matting the lining covers this in more detail.
- Air dry. Let them dry completely, away from direct sun and heat.
Why EVA needs gentle heat
EVA is a lightweight, flexible foam. The listing describes the clogs as lightweight, flexible, cushioned and easy to clean. High heat is the fastest way to change how a clog fits, so skip hot water, the dryer and a hot car.
